Committed to Your Care IMPORTANT INFORMATION

COVID:

If you are receiving the COVID vaccine, you must book either 4 weeks BEFORE your first shot (if getting 2) or 4 weeks AFTER your second shot. This 4-week window before or after your vaccine is important, as we've seen reports that taking the vaccine close to a permanent cosmetic procedure may lead to excess swelling in the area.

What Factors Will Affect My Cosmetic Tattoo?

Bleeding during the procedure: Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect how your body retains pigment. While this is not entirely in our control, it is important that you follow prep instructions to help minimize bleeding. This includes avoiding blood thinning medications, alcohol, caffeine and working out before your procedure.

  • Smoking: Smokers may notice that their tattoo will fade faster

  • Sun exposure/ UV rays: Increased exposure to the sun will cause premature fading.

  • Scar Tissue - Scar tissue normally does not hold pigment. We can absolutely tattoo around/over the scar tissue, but keep in mind, the area may remain lighter in color than the rest of the brow.

  • Raised Moles in the Brow Area - I cannot tattoo over raised moles. That may cause gaps in PMU\

  • Frequent Tanning/Sun damaged skin: Tanning/Sun damage can change the color of the PMU over time.

**As with every tattoo, in order to have proper healing, we recommend avoiding swimming, saunas, sun exposure, working out for two weeks following your appointment, so plan vacations accordingly.**

What Factors Will Affect My Henna Brows?

It is best to avoid submerging your brows in water for the first 24 hours. Avoid exfoliating until the brows begin to fade. There is no downtime or preparation needed before your henna appointment. Follow the instructions given after your appointment.

Step 1

CONSULTATION (15-20 MIN)

Welcome to BeautyInk By V! This is where I'll have you fill out the consent form and get to know you and your lifestyle. I'll examine your brow concerns and possibly ask you a few questions about your daily routine. We'll discuss your shape preferences and pigment color. Although it is extremely rare, if for some reason, I cannot perform the procedure after your consultation, I will let you know, or for some reason, you do not want to, I totally understand!

Step 2

BROW MAPPING (30 MIN-1 Hr)

I'll custom design an outline that’s best proportioned to your facial features. At this point I may ask you to sit up, close and open your eyes, smile, frown, talk and laugh so we can see how your mimic muscles move. We’ll both review the design and make any adjustments necessary. Once the design is approved, we will begin!

Step 3

PROCEDURE (2-2.5 HOURS)

You're ready to begin your transformation! For your comfort you will be numbed throughout the procedure. Please advise you will be laying down for the entire procedure.

AFTERCARE

I will review after care instructions with you and provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you’ll need for the initial healing period of 7-14 days. It’s important that you follow all the aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and retention for your brows. We wouldn’t want to waste all that time and TLC we just invested into them!
